Our history

After working for larger main contractors in senior positions, on commercial, residential and historic projects such as St Johns Church in Sevenoaks, Eton, Harrow Theatre and the fire restoration of the Wren Wing at Hampton Court Palace, Gary Harper and Mick Harrison decided to start their own Building Company in 1994.

The early days were property extensions, a 4 year list of laboratory refurbishments at St Helier Hospital near Carshalton and the reconstruction of a fire damaged factory in Hersham, Surrey.

In January 1998, Antler Homes appointed us to carry out the construction of a new house and indoor pool in St Georges Hill and this was the start of a 5 year run of high quality homes for Antler and several other private client bespoke contracts in the St Georges Estate. Continuing projects for unique developers such as Urban Matrix and Castilian, together with good and continuing relationships with local architects, has kept the company busy on large extensions, refurbishments and new build projects.

We have always worked hard to achieve and maintain a good reputation for high standards and a friendly, team based approach to all projects, whether with developers, private clients or institutions.

Our mission

We are an established main contractor set up in 1994, carrying out all aspects of new build and refurbishment of residential projects, commercial and domestic extensions.

We generally work within a 50 mile radius of Guildford, incorporating London, Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire and Sussex on contracts ranging from £100k - £5 million in value.

Our vision

We have built up an experienced and reliable building team, which we believe consistently produces the highest standards of technical construction and finish on all the projects we undertake. As well as this in house team, we have a long-standing relationship with a portfolio of reliable and able specialists, sub contractors and suppliers.

We are always happy to provide references from clients and design team professionals, who will testify to the professional service provided and high standards achieved on their contracts.
